How they met: eHarmony (Like so many of our couples, I love it!)

The Planning:

It was such a great experience working with Barbara & Martin. I initially met them at a bridal show where I had a booth set up. I recall speaking with them very briefly but received an e-mail from them the very next day wanting to schedule a meeting with me. We met within the same week and discussed their wedding plans. Immediately I knew I wanted to be their planner and was really hoping they decided that they wanted me to assist with their special day. Luckily for me they did and the planning and decor discussions began. They wanted pink, pink, pink, a hint of green and help pulling the details together. The end result ended in a beautiful, fun, exciting and pink affair to remember!

The couple sawed a log in lieu of a unity candle or sand ceremony. Sawing of a log is an Austrian tradition (In Germany after the wedding bride and groom have to saw a log in half working together. This is called "Baumstamm sägen" {"tree log sawing"}. It should show how they are going to solve problems in their life.
