How are the winners determined?

Real Wedding: Chris & Asia

We are thrilled that the new issue of San Diego Style Weddings has hit newsstands. We not only have an awesome new ad we are thrilled that one of our couples was selected as a "Real Wedding".

 

Asia & Chris were a wonderful couple to work with. They were so sweet and really just wanted an intimate affair with their closest friends and family. I loved the theme of their wedding, it was cooking! Asia & Chris love to cook and incorporated it into their wedding by having part of their engagement session shot in their kitchen and having each table the name of an herb. Guests loved going from table to table seeing basil, garlic, salt, etc incorporated in the centerpieces. The favors were homemade tins of BBQ seasoning rub. 

Lovingly called "Chris & Asia's BBQ Love Rub".

For the second year in a row Oh So Chic participated in a tablescape photo shoot for San Diego Style Weddings Magazine. You may remember our previous post. We were paired up with Peggi Walker of Metro Floral who did the amazing florals for this design. Our shoot took place at the La Costa Resort and the photos were taken by Garrett of Garrett Photography. Back in July, we posted about how excited we were to be designing a tablescape for San Diego Style Weddings Magazine. Well, the magazine is now available on newsstands. We had the pleasure of teaming up with Michael's Flower Girl to create our spa theme centerpiece for the design. The team of florists executed our vision to perfection. Exciting News for Oh So Chic!

Today, for the first time ever, I participated in a magazine photo shoot. It will be featured in San Diego Style Weddings Magazine that will come out in October. A variety of coordinators were paired up with florists and each team had to come up with a design concept. As the creative director, I decided on a spa theme. Here is a picture of my inspiration board. I snapped a few photos of the finished product BUT you will have to wait until the magazine comes out to see how my vision became reality.
