Paige & Ben 7/11/08

Here are a few photos from the wedding I had on July 11th. Paige and Ben were a wonderful couple to work with. Paige was a fireball and I had so much fun during the planning process. Paige, a music teacher, and Ben who is working on his Ph.D have a love of books and reading. One of the details I loved about their wedding was that they incorporated books into their centerpieces, which then became favors for all of their guests. With bright and bold colors this wedding was sure to be lots of fun.

There were also many great vendors that assisted in making the day so very special for the couple. The photos were taken by Nic Dragomire and his team from Tamarack Studios. We actually met Nic coincidentally at Starbuck's during the time Paige and I had our first consultation. Needless to say she hired both of us and the rest is history. Enjoy!

Exciting News for Oh So Chic!

Today, for the first time ever, I participated in a magazine photo shoot. It will be featured in San Diego Style Weddings Magazine that will come out in October. A variety of coordinators were paired up with florists and each team had to come up with a design concept. As the creative director, I decided on a spa theme. Here is a picture of my inspiration board. I snapped a few photos of the finished product BUT you will have to wait until the magazine comes out to see how my vision became reality.

Love note from Chocolate Haven..

DeShai, thank you once again for all your help and support.
Coordinators like you make our work so easy.

Take care!

5/3 Wedding Photos

So these photos are a little late but I was out of commission all of June. These are a few pictures of the May wedding that I did in Vista at this cute little location called Thibodo House & Park. Believe it or not, I didn't actually meet the couple until the day of the wedding. The brides mom is the one who actually hired me and the one I communicated with on the details of the wedding. They are a wonderful family and it was a great wedding. Enjoy!

"We appreciate so-o-o much your presence at the wedding. We understand the value of happy professional people and how much you contributed to the success of CJ & Adam's wedding. Thank you so much! "

Fondly,
Syndy & Perry (Mother and Stepfather of the bride)

Bridesmaids Gift Idea

These Cha Cha Bella rings are a fun and unique idea for bridal party gifts. There are a variety of styles and colors to choose from as well as a custom option. You can get different colors for each of your maids or even get them to match the dresses they will be wearing down the aisle. Love these!

Menu Card Ideas

Menu cards are a great way to add another personal touch to your wedding as well as inform your guests of what great cuisine that is to come. From round to fan shape, one per person or one per table, the sky is the limit with menu cards. If you are doing specific seating per table you can also incorporate guests names on them so that they know what seat they are in. This can make a great keepsake as well. So have fun and be creative. Remember this day is all about you and your husband or wife to be.
