Real Wedding {Shangwen + Mike}
When Shangwen &
Mike first approached me in June for their October wedding the only thing they
had secured was their venue. They decided to exchange vows at a close friends
resident in Carlsbad, CA. They were working on a fairly short timeframe for all
that needed to get accomplished but I was up for the challenge.
The first thing we
discussed was their color scheme. Shangwen had a unique color scheme that she
wanted to work with. She wanted each girl to have a different color dress which
ranged from Red to Blue (see photo below of swatches). We decided to
incorporate the color scheme into different color centerpieces that represented
each of the girls dresses. As well as dressing the men in navy suits with a
pops of red in the ties and the flowers. The end result turned out beautifully.
The huge palm made for a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony site.
Following the ceremony, the mini adorable mini weddings guests made this for the happy couple.
