Miss Teen San Diego Pageant

I had the pleasure of being a judge this past weekend for the Miss Teen San Diego Pageant. It was such an honor to be amongst a group of talented and smart young ladies. The pageant was put on by Nationals which pride themselves on "Pageantry with Purpose". The wonderful thing about this event is that there were no height or weight requirements, no talent portion, and no swimsuit competition. This gives all girls the chance to participate and build confidence and self esteem. There was an interview portion held on Saturday at the Westin Emerald Plaza and the actual pageant was at Crawford High Educational Complex. There were 4 divisions: Jr. Pre-Teen 7-9, Pre-Teen 10-12, Jr. Teen 13-15, and Teen 16-19. I was a judge for the Teen division and had the chance to interview approx 75 teenagers. It was a great experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Me with the winner Miss Shiri Bogomolny
She is a very intelligent and beautiful girl. She has a great future in store for her.

I had the chance to display some of my info for Oh So Chic. Here is a photo of my table display set up for the event.

What a great set up! Gotta love those San Diego wedding magazines. So much inspiration inside.
